WiFi FC3, laptop

Recently, I upgraded FC2 to FC3 on my Compaq 2580US. I am very pleased with some of the enhancements.

I have a built-in WiFi card, and hoped it would get picked up, but it didn't. The NIC did and I have connectivity on my LAN.
Eth0 = National Semi Conductor DP883815
Eth1 = 3Com 3c501

When I try to "activate" Eth1, i get the following error; "3c501 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization."

>From the following error message, I guess I will make some adjustments to the kernel?
------------
Command failed: /sbin/modprobe 3c501
Output:
FATAL: Error inserting 3c501 (/lib/modules/2.6.9-1.681_FC3/kernel/drivers/net/3c501.ko): no such device
--------------

thanks in advance!
Ralph
