I downloaded a vanilla kernel 2.6.9 from kernel.org. I compiled it using the config file which came with kernel source rpm. When i try using the kernel, it seems to boot fine initially then it comes to where it says "SELinux: unregistering hooks" .. or something like that and the bootup just stops. Does anyone know what is wrong? I am using Fedora Core 3. It was installed using the options "reisefs selinux=0". My root partition has a reiserfs file format.
