Hi folks,

Core 3, x86 platform (p4 1.4GHz, 1GB RAM)

Downloaded the DVD iso and mounted it on an ftp server, and burned disc 1 iso for booting my new system with "linux askmethod" to launch an FTP install, and everything went nice and smooth.

I didn't see a "kernel" option under the development branch when picking my packages, and after installing everything onto the machine, realize that there was no "kernel-source" package as there had been in the past, to recompile my kernel and modules.

Was this an oversight? Documentation and release notes for Core 3 on http://fedora.redhat.com/ are pretty sparse - seems everything still points to the Core 2 release still.

Thanks for any tips... if no "kernel-source" package is available, then I'll just hit kernel.org and grab the latest and greatest and hope for the best ;o)

See /usr/share/doc/fedora-release-3/RELEASE-NOTES-x86-en
