Subject: how to start booting in text mode

Hi,
I am using FC2. The booting process starts in graphical mode. How
to start the booting to take place in text mode.

Find this line in /etc/inittab : id:5:initdefault:

and change 5 to 3
this will fedora come up in runlevel 3 which is textmode.
After changing you might want to reboot but the commend 'init 3' will suffice to entyer runlevel 3
