Hi all
I use Fedora Cora 2 with hsfmodem on Fujitsu Siemens Lifebok C1020 ( integrated VIA AC97 modem and VIA AC97 audio ).
After "wvdial" on my console appears:
" Application hsfdcpd uses obsolete oss audio inteface
DevMgr_StartCallingTone - Fax element doesn't exist"
and then "No CARRIER".
But when I delete line
"alias snd-card-0 snd-via82xx"
from /etc/modprobe.conf, wvdial works fine.
I tried to upgrade kernel ( to version 2.6.8-1.521 ) and hsfmodem package too, but without changes.
I tried to add "acpi_irq_balance" and "acpi_irq_pci=3,4,5,6,7", but modem and audio are still on the same irq.

Accordig to Conexant technical support I tried to make following change "touch /etc/hsfmodem/nodcpaudio"
But this this change does not solve my issue.
Can you help me ?
