yellowdog 4 is very close to fedora
i am running it on my ti powerbook g4 1ghz 15" and it was all configured very nicely
it sleeps when i close the lid, volume/brightness keys work, wireless works
they seem to have done a pretty good job
although there were a few things that needed doing manually, ie tweeking X to make 3d fast.
