If you used the KDE control panel to set up login preferences, 
those apply to the KDE login manager, but Fedora uses the Gnome 
login manager (gdm) by default. Edit /etc/sysconfig/desktop and 
set DISPLAYMANAGER=KDE to use the KDE login manager with the 
settings you chose.
