For the radeon 7000, 7200 Graphics controllers, it has no mercy and eats everything in sight. The 7200 locks up the whole system. If you manually edit the xorg.conf and select the vesa driver, it works to a point and I actually submitted a bug report with the later X and with the vesa driver.

Anyway, I think that a bug needs also to be filed on bugzilla for FC2 and the particular components. This list is so high volume, which might forbid the developers from being able to monitor this list. The break seems to be from the -5 to the -9 releases. I'm running xorg-x11-6.8.1-4 and submitted a report for the test releases, which are changing constantly, then fade away.
FC2 is the final and current release. It would be bad for a segment to have to hold back from update major programs, because of breakages.
