run:

grep 'IPV6' /etc/sysconfig/network

and see if it is enabled. I don't use it because of known slow down
with badly configured DNS servers.

How do you start the wireless card? If you use the network scripts try
to grep around in: /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ and see how your
wireless starts.

Here is a link:
http://linux.yyz.us/ipv6-fc2-howto.html

and of course:
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Linux+IPv6-HOWTO/

I think there is an option to pass to the kernel not to use IPv6, here
is the relevant link:
http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mjm-fedora-fc2.shtml#ipv6

Good luck!
