Thanks for getting back to me on this.

Let me ask you this, ok. Is courier-imap better than cyrun-imap?

I did not see an rpm for this in the fedora core 2 directory and was wondering why that might be?

Thanks,
Lonnie

Hello all,

After installing the the Fedora Core 2, which I must say is very good and I really like all of the work that everyone has done, I installed the Squirrelmail rpm along with the cyrus-imap daemon rpm.

The problem is that now I am getting am error message from squirrelmail when I go to my localhost/webmail and try to login which tells me that
"Unknown user or password incorrect."

Did I miss something in the configuration?

If you use cyrus, it is not enough to have local users. Cyrus itself
need the users once more configured (man cyradm, or the like). In
addition, you need to specify saslpasswords (saslpasswd2 user).
