Since I did a clean install of Fc2 I have a problem at 800 x 600 resolution. I
did'nt have this with Fc1. Unfortionately I like to play 3d games and many of
these run at 800 X 600 reolution. ie unreal tournament and enemy-territory. I
can change the game resolution to 1280 x 1024 in enemy-territory but it always
resets to 800x600 when I restart the game. This is a pain. In unreal tournament
I don't know how to change the game resolution and thus can not play it.
I have a sony multiscan E400 monitor. The relevant xorg.conf section is:

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier "Monitor0"
        VendorName "Monitor Vendor"
        ModelName "Sony CPD-E400/E400E"
        DisplaySize 370 270
        HorizSync 30.0 - 96.0
        VertRefresh 48.0 - 120.0
        Option "dpms"
EndSection

Section "Device"

# option "NvAGP" "1"
        Identifier "Videocard0"
        Driver "nvidia"
        VendorName "Videocard vendor"
BoardName "NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX (generic)"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
        Identifier "Screen0"
        Device "Videocard0"
        Monitor "Monitor0"
        DefaultDepth 24
        SubSection "Display"
                Viewport 0 0
                Virtual 1600 1280
                Depth 24
                Modes "1280x1024" "1280x960" "1152x864" "1024x768" "800x600"
"640x480"
        EndSubSection
EndSection

Section "DRI"
        Group 0
        Mode 0666
EndSection

Is there a setting I can make to have it allow 800x600 resolution? Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
