Re: USB problem on FC2: invalid device

Have you verified that the disk works on another OS? Do all the lights light up properly on the device or whatever it's supposed to do? Have you recently re-compiled a kernel, or updated your kernel, and is there a chance that support for this device was removed for some reason from that module itself?

Hi,

I have a USB disk worked well on both WinXp and FC2
days ago. However, It does not work on FC2, I am not
sour what I had done on FC2. When I tried to mount hte
USB disk, it showed ' invalid device'.

I tryed modprobe usb_strorage. It did not give any
message, the USB still not working.

Any advice? Thanks
