Lemme insert a dumb question into this discussion: HOW does one do a
file transfer with Gaim?
If you were to right click a particular individual, you will get a drop down menu. Assuming Gaim supports sending files to this buddy of yours, you will see "send file" in the menu. If you left click "send file" you will be given a dialog in which to choose the file you are going to send.
