You can change this behaviour by adding following section to your
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file:

Section "ServerFlags"
~        Option  "BlankTime" "0"
~        Option  "StandbyTime" "0"
~        Option  "SuspendTime" "0"
~        Option  "OffTime" "0"
EndSection

If you already have a ServerFlags Section, just add the 'Option' Lines
to it. The values are minutes, 0 turns the feature off.
