Ok, got the kernel installed, driver loaded and x running, but... No logo at startx. Instead get garbage. Cursor/pointer is like one square inch of garbage. Looked into Advanced Options for xorg.conf and found some that get rid of the garbage: HWCursor off, SWCursor on, and CursorShadow options. No garbage, but only have a cursor when the pointer is sitting on the very outside edge of a window. Any ideas on how to get a pointer back? Thanks for your support, GregS <><
