Forgive me for offering a truly irrelevant comment, but with Shorewall all you'd have to do is add this one line to /etc/shorewall/rules:


ACCEPT          net          fw          tcp          6881:6889

Then restart Shorewall to have it do all the work for you.

That being said, I've not offered any specific advice on fixing the problem since I see from later posts that it's already been resolved.
