I am running FC2 on a server with several thin clients connecting to it XDMCP. All desktops are Gnome. No KDE involved. So why is each desktop running this on the server: /usr/bin/artsd -F 10 -S 4096 -s 60 -m artsmessage -l 3 -f Is this expected? The server does not even have a sound card and the sound is being done (and working) by setting ESPEAKER properly based on the DISPLAY variable. -Steve
