Adaptec RAID / Seagate Serial-ATA / RAID 1 / lost interupt

I have an Adaptec S-ATA RAID AAR-1210SA / EFIGS KIT
and 2* Seagate ST3120026AS S-ATA (120 GB).

With the RAID controller I created a RAID Level 1 and
formatted both hard disks. When I boot from CD-ROM FC2
(or Knoppix 3.4 and 3.3) things are extremely slow and
I get all the time 'lost interupt' and some DMA error.

I disabled the SCSI-contoller - nothing. I disabled
DMA for the RAID controller - nothing. I tried a
different system (board, faster system) - still
nothing.

The drivers of the driver disk created by the Adaptec
software are not recognized but FC2 allows my to load
a module for the RAID controller.

Any hints?
