It's a motherboard, and the FC2 kernel reboots when trying to install to
it. There is a fix though; download and boot from Arjan's fixed boot
image:

Yes, I think these are both blockers for a release, but hindsight gets
you nowhere. Both bugs provide an interesting+educational read on what
you can do to prevent such things slipping into FC3.

Anyhow, Randy and others: Searching through the mailing list archive
and/or the Fedora bug tracker would both have led you to the solution.
Please keep that in mind for the future before going on a rant ;)
