Figuring things out...

Hello all,

I've just installed fedora (upgrading from RH9 and RH 7.3). I'm trying to
setup a repository using yum and rsync. I have a few questions though
however. I had the Core 1 CD's (that accompanied the Wide Open magazine)
and installed from there. I was setting up the Yum repository and assumed
that I should just mirror the latest core (along with its updates).
However I started getting errors when trying to update from my repository.
I checked the core 1 RPMS directory and the core 2 RPMS directory and
noticed that a lot of the redhat-config utilities are not there, which
leads me to my question at hand

Do I need both the core 1 and core 2 stuff or can I just go with the core
2 (and the redhat-config stuff is removed or has been repackaged). I'm
setting this up internally with the hopes of using this as my ftp
installation server.

I had been under the impression that one can do a full install from the
latest core directory. Any help would be appreciated.

James
