Hi folks, I've got a K7D master with two Athlon MP 2000 processors and a gig
of 333 ddr.

I downloaded, md5 checked, and burned the cdroms. Then, I did the media
check, and it froze the machine on the first disk @ 79%.

No stranger to CDROM troubles and RH ( :) ), I got another CDROM, and tried
again. Same problem, @ 79%. Then, reset the bios to the fail-safe options,
same problem.

Went to a different machine, media check came out ok, installation went just
fine. So, I took that CDROM and installed it into my problem child. Media
check froze @ 79%.

At this point, I suspect there is some wonkieness between the installation
kernel and the hardware, and I don't know how to resolve it. I'm going to
check to see if I have the latest version of my bios and upgrade it if I
don't, but does anybody have any other ideas for me? It would be greatly
apprecaited.

Sean
