CUPS driver for Windows?

Hello, everyone:

After two days of reading on Samba and CUPS to set up a good print server for a Windows network, I came upon the cupsaddsmb command. CUPS uses this command to provide Samba with drivers which can then be downloaded automatically to any Windows computer, and with this driver the client is able to print to any printer connected to and configured in the CUPS server.

This sounds like an exceedingly wonderful thing... except that I can't *find* the driver to save my life. I'm told to search the CUPS software download page, which in turn takes me to a page where I can download the "CUPS Driver for Windows" [1]. But no... that would be just too easy, so the driver on that page is 5.0rc3 and requires at least cups-1.1.20rc6 or newer. Since updated CUPS on FC1 is 1.1.19-13, I'm SOL. Not like FC1 is as ancient as Debian stable, damnit.

The documentation says the file is named cups-samba-1.1.x.tar.gz. Google, Yahoo, and RPMfind show nothing of the sort anywhere. Searching my system shows nothing similar installed. I'll be darned if I can figure out how/where to get this thing, but I *know* it's not supposed to be this difficult.

Can anyone tell me where to find the appropriate CUPS Driver for Windows to install on FC1? While we're at it, will that driver be OK for FC2? And is there a reason I can't see why that driver isn't in an RPM package somewhere and available easily?

Thanks!
