Default IP address

Hi,
I have a server with IP based HTTP virtual hosts. The server has its own address (10.1.1.3) and 5 virtual hosts (10.1.1.10 => 10.1.1.15)
If I ping 10.1.1.3, the return packet has 10.1.1.15 as source address.
Does anyone know how to tell Fedora to use 10.1.1.3 as default return address?
It seems that if I ifdown/ifup 10.1.1.10=>10.1.1.15, then 10.1.1.3 (the "oldest" address) is used as it should be.

Thanks for any help.
