If you use the CUPS (or Adobe) Windows drivers at the client end,
PostScript will arrive at the SAMBA server end -- intended to be
processed by CUPS filters.

It behaves differently depending on whether you use CUPS/Adobe
drivers; or vendor-provided drivers.
