Well, that isn't clear. The descriptions at
http://fedora.redhat.com/participate/communicate/ are rather
terse.

By way of illustration, here's a boundary situation: I've just loaded
the latest FCT, and I have a question regarding setting up a
particular application, but the question isn't specific to the test
release. Do I ask on the test list or the general list?

My answer is: on the general list, because I don't believe the
question is specific to the current test release, and the audience is
wider on the general list.

And in any case, adding the mnemonic is harmless.
