Just a quick question--does anyone have any webcam-on-Linux recommendations? I'm hoping to get a 640x480 USB cam that is compatible w/ Linux for not too much $$ and am learning that this doesn't seem possible. Any recommendations welcome! I'll take any answers off lis
I don't know if it's considered a web cam, but the camera that came with my Hauppauge WinTV card works very well on Linux and the video is a lot smoother than USB connected cards I've seen. Sorry, it's been a while since I looked at it closely, I can't remember the resolution.
