It is recommended that you get a computer with some balls.  The owner of
the project says he runs his on an AMD1800 machine and the theoretical
lower end is a 500Mhz machine.  

He traded his 550Mhz in for the current machine to be able to "pause"
live tv (requires encoding and decoding processes).
