I've tried to get a directory listing trough apache when there is no
default page available.
I've tried adding this line in the httpd.conf

<Directory "/online/project">
   Options Indexes
   AllowOverride None
   Order allow,deny
   Allow from all
</Directory>

But it still comes up with the fedora test page.
Anything i forgot?

That is the default config of fedora's httpd when there is no index.html (or other home page) in the root directory of your server. Any other directory should provide the index for you.
