USR ISA Modem shows up as "Unknown" hardware... help?

That's what the hardware browser says. I'm thinking of going back to
dial-up (I did that before and didn't mind, but the modem worked
flawlessly under my OS then, which was SuSE). Under Fedora this modem
isn't correctly detected. Any idea what I can do to get this detected
properly? If I can't, I might have to go back to SuSE. I'd rather give
$85 to someone who supports open source software than spend $80+ on a
different modem when I have one that worked perfectly under SuSE. Of
course, I'd ultimately prefer to stick with Fedora, thus the nature of
my question here. Anyone have an idea of how I could remedy this?
