I've always felt that referring to the test releases as "unstable" was a
mistake.  They're not unstable in the sense of crashing all the time,
but unstable in the sense of changing.  That being said, Fedora Core 1
has been "stable" (i.e., unchanging, with the exception of patches) for
months.
