Sorry "WipeOut" for starting a new thread, but I don't have the original
mail anymore.

LinuxJournal this month mentions www.rsnapshot.org:

"...als makes use of hard links for storage, so the same file isn't stored
twice but hard linked...Requires: Perl, rsync, and SSH"
