Yes, I've done this, but what can I put to macros for
%_archÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ ?

It works when I set __global_cflags on last /usr/lib/rpm/redhat/macros
to $CFLAGS.

Edit /usr/lib/rpm/athlon-linux/macros with i.e.:

%optflags               -O3 -g -pipe -fno-exceptions -funroll-loops
-fomit-frame-pointer -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common

or what you like as CFLAGS.
