Doorstop Linux

|I have this dead box in my room with FC1 installed on it. For some
|reason, the door keeps sliding shut, even though the box is sorta
|heavy. Maybe it's because I have wood floors, I'm not sure... I'm sorta
|a n00b.

The Fedora distribution is not geared for doorstop purposes. As a
download-only distribution, it doesn't possess sufficient mass to achieve
this kind of functionality.

I'd recommend that you install RHEL instead. As it comes in a heavy
cardboard box loaded with printed manuals, CD cases and reference cards,
it's the most perfect fit for your doorstop needs.

As RHEL comes in 3 different flavors, my suggestion is that you choose the
AS version. It not only has the highest and heaviest manual count, but it
also offers, as its webpage states, _the highest levels of support_ which
provide substantial additional weight.

An additional (and optional) procedure might further enhance your doorstop
results. Since you now have an useless FC box (computer box), you might
consider positioning it directly atop the RHEL box (cardboard box). This
would give you unsurpassed doorstopping capabilities, and as an added
bonus it might as well completely block the passage to anyone wishing to
enter or leave the data processing complex. Take THAT for physical
security !!!

Just my R$0,02 (brazilian centavos) worth.

Cheers
