Hi,

I recently updated an server to Fedora Core 1 running as a timeserver. ntp-4.1.2-5 is installed. I use a very, very simple - may be to simple ? configfile:

server ntp1-1.belwue.de
server ntp2.belbone.be
driftfile /var/lib/ntp/drift
broadcastdelay 0.008
logfile /var/log/ntp.log

ntpq -p showes
remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter
==============================================================================
*ntp1.BelWue.DE .DCFp. 1 u 81 128 377 1.751 16.980 1.788
ntp2.belbone.be 0.0.0.0 16 u - 64 0 0.000 0.000 4000.00

ntpdate ntp1.BelWue.DE showes
17 Feb 12:24:26 ntpdate[32271]: adjust time server 129.143.2.23 offset 0.018454 sec

after starting the ntpd "/etc/init.d/ntpd start"

my ntp-Clients can't sync there time:

[root@dali greinick]# ntpdate 172.17.1.251
17 Feb 12:26:09 ntpdate[19460]: no server suitable for synchronization found

So any ideas what's wrong or should be tested?? There is no firewall!

Thanks for any hints and tips!

Regards
