I just took an Ethereal trace of both text and gnome up2date runs against my local mirrors and see nothing going to <anything>.redhat.com. Was this an install that was upgraded from a previous RH version?
Ok thanks, this is what I will do next time, too.
It is a plain install, only packages added were fwbuilder.
But it seems really strange as I have no more reference to the redhat server and it really tried to connect...
