I find the easiest and best way to get it is with apt-rpm. Grab the RPM from http://apt-rpm.tuxfamily.org and then just do:

apt-get update
apt-get install bittorrent-gui

If you would like a nice GTK2 based GUI for it, get it with this command:

apt-get install synaptic

This will automatically handle any dependancies as-well.
