Is your Server a linux with samba installed? or are you talking from samba
on chadley.linux? is now chadley.linux chadlin.linux?

this is a kind of correct, yes..if it is on your samba-server called PDC-MID

this is now again on chadlin.linux or chadley.linux? in each case, this
should work. but i have in each case winbind installed on the server-side
as also on the clients-side.

you see all your shares from chadley? this is a kind of normal, as those
data belong to your local account (UID). Are you running the smb-server
also on this pc??

check your /etc/smbpasswd on your samba-server. try again to put both pc's
in your domain using (on linux) the 'net join'-command.
