Hi,
If the DNS-Server is for your network and servers your clients, why not
using the dhcp-daemon from linux?

If you have this, you can configure bind as a dynamic-dns-server. The
update of the names are then done be the clients dhclient-script.

Help for this you find on
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?s=&threadid=80095&highlight=ddns

at the end of the mentionned thread, you find dhcp.conf for the
dhcp-server, named.conf for bind and i think also some zone-definitions.

Is it you need help? HTH
