Fedora Gnome Woes

I did not install Open Office from the Fedora ISO's, but Gnome seems to want
to see part of it anyway. Specifically, the message I get when I log out (I
typically go into gnome with startx) is:

"Unable to open desktop file
applications:///Office/redhat-word-processor.desktop for panel launcher.
Error reading file 'applications:///Office/redhat-word-processor.desktop':
file not found"

I get similar burps for Open office spreadsheet and presentations ".desktop"
files.

Also -- perhaps related -- there are three warnings which read: "(nautilus:
1940) Warning xx: destroyed file still being monitored."

Any config files I can hack to save gnome some unnecessary work?
Thanks.
