Well thanks for the answers (and Alexandre Strube).
But I cannot get it to work.
Gnomemeeting detects it as /dev/video1 but will not download from it.
I realize that it is detected as 352x240 but printed on the front of it
is:
"DIGITAL DSCpro True Digital VGA 640 X 480 -2MB"
The base plate says: "DSCpro www.xirlink.com FCC ID: KSX-X9905"

The images downloaded are indeed 640x480
