Nobody ever could point out any patent. The existens of NTFS patents is
getting round without anybody ever checking the facts.

AFAIK, Red Hat's statement is "we are checking out" for about 2 years.

So they have an agreement with Microsoft about FAT usage? We know it has
patents.
