NIS Domainname

Everytime I reboot my system looses it's NIS domain. Where do you set your NIS domain so that it stays after a reboot? 

Example:

# domainname asdf.asdf.asdf

# domainname 
asdf.asdf.asdf

# reboot

# domainname
(none)
