This time with the subject...

Hi all,
I hope I'm posting the message in the correct list :)

I'm currently trying to install fedora core 1 to my "almost" new computer.

Aftwer I installed fc1 I've hit this problem that caused me an heart
attack ;-)
http://groups.google.it/groups?hl=it&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=autocheck+n
ot+found+hidden+partition+grub

now the real issue,
I installed fc1 but when I boot the machine I can only boot windowsXp,
there is no sign of grub ( I installed it the MBR)

Info:

Ed il grub.conf:

# Note that you do not have to rerun grub after making changes to this
file # NOTICE: You have a /boot partition. This means that

   root (hd0,1)
# kernel /vmlinuz-version ro root=/dev/hda3
# initrd /initrd-version.img
boot=/dev/hda

        initrd /initrd-2.4.20-8.img

TIA.
