Goodday --

My problem is a may have a bad CD drive.
What's going on is I'm using custom instlall, everything goes fine till I
get to the zip archive? Then I get currupt file message and it hangs?

But when I exaimed the RPM with "Midnite Commander" in Slackware it was fine?
Which leads me to beleive it maybe the CD drive?

Which leads to my questions?
1. Is three a way for me to skip zip.rpm? I didn't see it listed as a
seperate package anywhere?

2. Or can I copy the CD to a HD partition and install from there?

TIA,

David
