I was running Red Hat 9 and I just updated to Fedora Core. Now, the only user that can start an X session is "root". If I try it from any

I can run X just fine (I started it from runlevel 3)

Any hints?

If you had non-US fonts, this bug may have bit you:
http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=109537
Some font file names changed from RH9 -> FC1, but the
RPM update didn't remove the old name. Though mozilla is
tolerant of this (now), non-english locale's can experience
this sort of behaviour. The bug report describes some remedies.

Hope this helps,
