There is an update for the package manager that solves the 'insert
disk...insert disk...insert disk...' problem, if that is what you are
referring to.

Actually, no. I try to install packages and it looks like itsinstalling the first one then hangs, then pops up a dialog box saying "ERror installing packages"

At which point typing rpm -Uvh etc in a terminal window doesn't work either and I had to reboot.
