GnuCash in Fedora Core 1 ru_RU.UTF-8 locale

How to make working GnuCash? As for now, I can see only boxes instead of normal russian text. The result is the same when I'm trying to enter something.

By the way, rebuilding GnuCash package in ru_RU.UTF-8 locale from the source package did not help.
