Hello

I have one question

Why Fedora installer with everything turned off installs the following package:
reiserfs-utils
or
hesiod
or
....

When I turn off everything I need a system that is minimal (knows how to boot and find devices)

This is the freedom of Gentoo.

I would be very happy to apply this word to Fedora in this situation.
Of course I can remove all the unnecessary packages but why should I bother myself
finding those packages?

I would be glad to hear your comments about that.
Maybe in Fedora Core 2
we will have the ability to install truely minimal system.

There has already been a major discussion about having a minimal install actually be minimal..

For those type of installs I use Trustix Secure Linux (http://www.trustix.net).. The minimum install is about 90MB..

Later..
