How do you un-suspend?  apm -s *seem* to work, my vpr Matrix laptop
went to sleep, and the power light kept flashing.  However, nothing
I tried would make it come out of a sleep state.  I had to unplug the
power and remove the main battery to finally get the system back to
normal.

I don't think apm, acpi works on my laptop yet, even with the 2.6
kernels, I don't get any battery status etc. : (
