R: OpenOffice doesnt work anymore after migration to FC1

Openoffice 1.0 and 1.1 configuration isn't compatible, you must delete the
.openoffice dir in each users homedir and then start openoffice 1.1 to make
it work. 
Thats: rm -r ~/.openoffice

I haven't said this before since some people did it successfully but
upgrading from RH 9 to FC1 using the upgrade option seems to me to be
counter-productive. There are critical things it seems to me that will not
be upgraded correctly. Open Office could well be one.
Where will yum come from if you do this?
